It’s hard to believe it’s been 5 years since we originally launched Bunkr.co.uk back in 2013, it was more of a hobby than anything else.. almost a personal site to log bunkhouses we’d stayed at, planned to stay at or could stay at at some point in the future.

Back in the not-so-distant past of 2013, it was harder to find bunkhouses, many of them didn’t have websites, they wasn’t much in the way of Bunkhouse specific accommodation websites.

When we finally launched, it became clear within a month or two that there was a need not just for bunkhouse listings but also a ‘central place’ to find, book and recommend bunkhouses to others – and here we are 5 years later with a completely new site, a new brand but the same ethos; to put bunkhouses (quite literally) on the map.

So what’s new?

Technically – everything! The new site has been built from scratch, it’s faster, even more mobile friendly and offers a suite of tools to accommodation owners enabling them to get their property in front of people that are actively searching for it.
