Welcome to this quirky, Camino inspired Eco hostel just a short leafy lane from the Eden Project. You will be in one of two dormitories (one six bed and the other 8 bed) in a proper purpose- built adult- size bunk bed.
The Hay Barn common room, (former workshop) bathroom and courtyard kitchen are all shared with other guests. A simple toasty breakfast is included in the room rate.
Perfect for lone stars, small groups, friends, family, colleagues, fellow scholars and travelers of lifes byways.
All bedding is provided, Towels are available to hire for £1.50. Access to the household washing machine will cost £2.00 per load (up to 9kg) and £2.00 to dry. You are of course welcome to solar dry for free on the washing line – if time and climate allows.
We offer an evening meal for £6.50 but you are perfectly welcome to self cater in our simple courtyard kitchen (do check the photos). We always offer both meat and vegan options but it helps to know numbers so let us know if you would like to have dinner with us by 15.00 on the day
We live in the house right next to the yard and look forward to meeting you.
Amenity limitations – Phone signal is not so good on some networks – especially O2. Children strictly + 14 and preferably 1:1 child adult ratio . We do like children (we even have vague recollections of it ourselves) but limited space, shared facilities and fire-pits means we are simply not equipped to meet the challenges of extreme youth. Thank you for respecting this. The only exception are off peak groups whom we would ask to hire the whole place out.
Essentially dorm camping: we do heat the dorms in the cooler months but please dress accordingly.
