Located in the centre of the Isle of Skye, this former Post Office offers a warm and friendly environment. The hostel is noticeable for its vibrant yellow colour along with its imaginative interior. The spacious kitchen and dining room, housed in the original sorting room, is the perfect place to meet other backpackers whilst enjoying the fabulous view across Portree Bay to the Cuillins from the window.
The hostel, once the main post office for the island, has been converted into a hostel with bags of character whilst being well provided with excellent facilities.The reception and lounge is the original post office counter area, still with the original safe, clock, service counter and access, and WiFi throughout the hostel.
Our hostel is easy to find, public transport is a minute’s walk and parking, shops, tourist information and parking a short walking distance. With rooms range from 4 bedded to 12 bedded, along with offering family friendly and female only dorms
A self- service laundry is available daily from 11 am to 9pm .

The reception works from 7:30 am to 10 am and 3pm to 10 pm.
•The guest can cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 7 days before arrival.
