Everything you need to know about YHA Brecon Beacons

YHA Brecon Beacons hostel is set in 15 acres of ancient National Park woodland and overlooks the River Tarell. There are breathtaking views towards Pen y Fan South Wales’ highest mountain!

Hostel:
YHA Brecon Beacons, has 41 beds in a selection of private and dorm rooms, some of which are en-suite.
The hostel features a comfortable lounge with plenty of sofas and arm chairs, great self-catering facilities and a handy drying room for muddy clothes.

The hostel is not suitable for children under five, however the hostel is great for older children with lots of room for outdoor play.

Camping pods :
There are two of the Large Pod Plus camping pods available to guests at YHA Brecon Beacons. These pods sleep four people with one double futon and two single beds for a comfortable night’s sleep. Each pod has its own individual decking area.

Land Pods:
Waterproof structures sleeping up to four adults, slightly elevated for a comfortable night’s sleep. With LED lighting these pods include all beds and bedding.

Wild Camping:
Try wild camping at YHA Brecon Beacons in our woodland campsite. The area is well suited for smaller tents rather than bigger family sized units. Camping is in the woodland next to the hostel on mixed, fairly rough ground – perfect for those who would like a wild camping experience complete with camp fires but with the added bonus of access to hot showers, running water, hot meals and cold beer.
