The centre is a picturesque converted Victorian school and schoolhouse located next to the church in a farming hamlet which lies within the East Hampshire ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Sleeping a maximum of twenty the centre is designed to accommodate small to medium-sized groups who prefer the freedom of hiring a small centre all to themselves.
The centre provides the basics – a self-catering kitchen, bunk beds mainly in bedrooms, a large common room, games room, and shower rooms all under one roof. There are two single rooms, one with disabled access ensuite bathroom.
Outside a large paddock and asphalt playground provide secure and spacious recreational and parking space. The tranquillity and views of the open countryside are magnificent.
Available for weekday, weekend and day use all year, the Privett Centre is an ideal residential setting, supporting curriculum and PSHE work taking place in schools, youth awards and youth work projects. It also makes an ideal venue for families and adults, looking for a sole use.
