It doesn’t really feel like it – but summer is here and it’s got off to a bit of a cold, wet start.
Hard to believe that this time last year we were basking in around 30°C temperatures and constant blue skies – whereas this year it’s been constantly grey skies and sub 20°C temperatures.

Before we know it the schools will have broken up and we’ll all be looking to book a few nights away to take the kids on a little summer adventure.. or maybe even a longer UK based stay-cation.

You might think of expensive B&B’s or hotels by the coast when you think of a UK family holiday – but there is so much more to do then the beach or city sightseeing (as cool as those are).

This year why not head to one of the UK’s beautiful National Parks, or challenge the family to walk part of a National Trail (or a whole trail if you’re feel particularly motivated!)
